About

Over 15 years ago, 2 friends from culinary school, Martin Martinez and Jaime Valencia, took two completely different paths after graduating. Martin went on to help open 3 local restaurants for the next few years and eventually left the culinary scene to work sales in the lawn care industry and eventually start a fertilization company MGM Turf Inc. 

 

Jaime went on to work at well known Houston restaurants such as The Grove, Ritual, House of Blues, Feges BBQ and helping Blood Bros BBQ reach a spot in the Texas Monthly top 50 BBQ Joints and secure a James Beard Award nomination. After years of working for other people Jaime decided he wanted something of his own and further express his creativeness.

 

Over the years Martin and Jaime kept in touch and always talked about one day teaming up and starting a new venture together. They both share the same passion when it comes to food and decided to come together and create Q Fusion. 

Our Style of Cooking

Chefs Martin and Jaime are both born in Mexico and have a deep, strong love for true, authentic Mexican food. A Lot of the dishes created will have Mexican flavors infused to give their signature Q Fusion taste.

Texas BBQ

While chefs Martin and Jaime use a lot of mexican influnced flavors, theres no denying that Texas BBQ is our signature food. With the combined 15 years of experience from small and local to nationally recognized BBQ joints, they are committed to bring you the absolute best BBQ experience youve ever had.
